With over ten years of experience in multiple areas of Trade Shows and Conferences, Eric has a depth of familiarity with the Event Industry uncommon for someone his age. In the early 1980's, he started as a grunt worker at PEGS Exhibits Inc., the Washington, DC area's first design-and-build trade show exhibit house. After finishing college the first time, he helped to market and sell to Associations and Event Organizers while with a2z, Inc., one of the premier Event Management Software solution providers. After completing a second degree, he sold and generated leads for National Trade Productions, J. Spargo and Associates, and again for a2z.

Now, Eric is the Principal of P.O.P. Event Marketing, Inc, which provides Pre-Event, On-Site, and Post-Event marketing to Event Organizers and to individual exhibitors.

Eric and his son, Isaac, are in his profile photo. Not pictured are his daughter, Eden, and the cutest lady in the world, his wife, Christina.

"Terrance Barkan suggested an idea about involving exhibitors with an event-centric online community. I thought the E365 community could build upon it and give some feedback. Here’s what Terrance said. "Exhibitors in a social media context need to get engaged in the 'business problem to be solved' and have subject matter experts get involved in online discussions."Terrance has it right. Expert..."

"For all of the bloggers out there, what phone do you use? If you are an iPhone user, do you have trouble with the touch screen keyboard? I have used a friend's iPhone on occasion. When I do, I usually touch the key beside the one I want. That's why I like the Blackberry because it lets me click real buttons. Comments?"

"For the unschooled blogger that I am, it seems that Lindy is saying that she uses AT&T as her wireless carrier. Is that better than another? Are there any reasons that AT&T is preferred? Was I just reading the blog posting incorrectly?"
