Social Networking Comes to Life on the Tradeshow Floor
This is a true virtual event. I hope to hear what you think! How are you achieving this? Do you know of anything similar and how it worked out?
The overall In Zone is a new concept that has been brought to life to help tradeshow organizers and event planners bring together their online and onsite communities. I come from the tradeshow side, and am intrigued by what can be done at the physical place, the tradeshow or meeting, to encourage/reward/engage social networking and that community.
Here's a link to my video explaining what the heck is going on: http://www.youtube.com/theexpogroup

It was such an honor when Dana Freker Doody called upon me to take her vision of the “Continuing the Conversation” area and turn it into a reality. Onsite and online will definitely be united into one conversation between myself, the industry thought-leader, the F2F audience, and the virtual audience through the power of the Digitell platform.
The F2F audience will not be “lectured at” or “talked to” by myself or the industry thought-leader; rather they will be participating in a conversation. This will showcase a unique approach to an in-booth presentation that provides education/information in a way that allows for audience participation.
The virtual audience will not merely be watching a webcast, but will be able to join in the conversation through Twitter as well as a chat feature on Digitell’s platform. In fact, the virtual presentation will begin prior to the F2F presentation so that the virtual audience has their own experience unique to them. This will showcase how beneficial it is to have a virtual event, and consequently connect to a whole seperate audience, right from a trade show booth.
And how are we promoting this “live from the show floor” hybrid event? Through social media of course!
So we look forward to “seeing” you next week...and hearing your thoughts!!
