Twitter Archiving

I just found a service that archives hashtag feeds called Twapper Keeper (http://twapperkeeper.com).

Has anyone tried this or any other service to have an archive of the conversations?

Does anyone see a value in this?

I played with it a little. Can't say I was overly impressed with it, but I did not dive into it. I primarily use wthashtag to archive hashtag chats -- see the Engage365 Chat page.

Anyone else?

I've used TwapperKeeper, which I thought was pretty useful for archiving tweets not only for a specific hashtag, but for specific keywords. I do have a few issues, though:

  1. I don't like how the service requires you to log in with a Twitter account to create an archive, and then it automatically tweets to your followers when you've created the archive.
  2. It doesn't catch all the tweets, especially if you're looking for those that occurred more than, say, 2 weeks ago.
  3. I had a hard time downloading and exporting archives as well as filtering by date.

I agree with Chris on wthashtag. I like how you can view the transcript for tweets and even specify the dates you want to see.
